then you have to do new things that will help you grow. it does not matter how old you are. there is always time for improvement. weeks ago i was feeling sad and while scrolling down videos on youtube i discovered by chance one of the people that is contributing day by day to my new change. his name is jay shetty. i highly recommend to watch his videos because the way he speaks, what he says will let you reflect on so many things. and you will start changing even if you don’t realise it. something inside me is changing. this is what i need and where the real change comes from. today i was not thinking of posting anything else but i watched jay shetty’s last video and it seemed like everything i thought and wanted to say was in there. it’s incredible. please watch it if you can. i promise it will help you. i cried. how many things do we loose till we decide that we can stand up by ourselves? we make mistakes every day and we are ashamed of ourselves. we fear but we have to be our change. each one of us has got a different life. we think we are suffering alone but millions of people are suffering at this same time in the world, maybe even for the same reason. we struggle but that is how we become strong. if you don’t know who jay shetty is please go on youtube and follow his videos. his messages are always so powerful and he can really open your eyes. i also recommend this video if you are struggling. “the happier you are the more beautiful you become”. “we are confident about what is on the outside not realising that what’s on the inside is infinitely more powerful”. author myspecialjourney posted on september 12, 2018 september 12, 2018 leave a comment on nobody has got an easy life. how to start your journey the hardest thing is always to recognise where or when there is a problem. we often try to close our eyes and leave things the way they are, because we are too scared of changes. so the main thing to do is to accept that there is a problem whatever that is: you don’t like your job, you don’t like your boyfriend or your lifestyle anymore and then… do something about it. stop being frustrated by your own indecision. start doing something different now. it does not matter what you do at the beginning. you won’t be able to change completely all of a sudden anyway but you can start changing day by day. just the fact that you know there is something wrong with your life and you acknowledge it it’s a big step. being afraid of doing the wrong thing is normal too. don’t let it stop you from going forward though. there will be up and down moments but don’t give up. i felt i needed something better for myself and it took me a while to actually gather the strenght to change. being trapped in a full time job i don’t like anymore is not what i want. my second step was looking into new possibilities, exploring all my passions and deeply think about what else i could do. i still have not completely figured out what i will be doing from now on but that’s ok. one step at a time. an other big problem for me was my health. being lazy does not help but i realised how important is to get back to my healthy self. watching motivationals videos, reading books, listening to songs will help to inspired you to do so much more. i want to be better. i can be better for myself. so… no excuses. stop delaying your change. i started this blog hoping to find myself and to help other like me in this process. i am moving forward. you can do it too. today i created a fitness plan for my next month. never been that into fitness before but since i decided to do it and planned this i feel so excited. can’t wait to start it. i will be my better self because i want to be. author myspecialjourney posted on september 12, 2018 leave a comment on how to start your journey finding the light in your dark times… i am a very strong person. i am also very fragile and i tend to get hurt easily. but i am strong. i know i am. no matter how many times i feel broken inside. no matter how many people walk away from my life. it does not matter how sad and lonely i feel. i will always find the strenght inside myself to stand up again. never forget that you are the only person that can fight for yourself and for what you want. only you can do it. don’t let your mind or your sadness put you down. you deserve the best for yourself and you can get even things that your low self-esteem tells you that you don’t deserve. it’ s all in your head. get up and start with repeating to yourself that you are stronger than that. you have something special in yourself, whatever that is, and no matter how far something is from yourself: if you really want it you can obtain it. decide what you really want for yourself no matter how distant, difficult or impossible that seem to you. start with simple steps in that direction and day by day it will feel less distant. it will be hard at the beginning but know that if somebody else can do it you can do it too. i believe in our inner strenght. there is nothing that we cannot do. strongly believe in yourself. you will make it. author myspecialjourney posted on september 11, 2018 leave a comment on finding the light in your dark times… sometimes it’s ok to feel down…. it’s a saturday morning. you wake up and look outside your window. you have so many things to do and you are already panicking because you do not have much time. it’s raining and it seems to be quite cold, even if it’s september. the sky is gray and there are so many clouds you just feel like you want to be in bed all day. well… i tell you what? it’s ok. it’s ok to spend a saturday home watching tv, films or reading books and eating rubbish food. it’s ok staying in and not going out. once in a while it’s ok to embrace the sadness you are feeling inside and you don’t have to feel bad about it. you don’t have to always force yourself to do things just because you have to. sometimes it’s good to simply not do anything. weather has always had some sort of power on me. if the sky is gray i feel like my own sadness and insecurities have been projected outside. funny thing is..when there is a clear blue sky i feel like all the cloud disappeared from my life too. this makes me think. there can’t be always clouds in our life. there will be a day when our life will be sunny and cristal clear. so it’s fine to feel down and think negative today but always remember that,even if now nothing makes sense or you do not really believe you are going to be ok, at some point the sun will shine and you will feel warm again. author myspecialjourney posted on september 10, 2018 leave a comment on sometimes it’s ok to feel down…. 12 things you should not do when you feel lost here is a list of 12 things you should not do when you feel lost: don’t compare your life with someone else’s. you are you and you can’t just expect your life to be a simple copy and paste. don’t think about your failures. you should think about how difficult your trip has been and what you’ve done so far. don’t try to cling too much on somebody else. only you can find what is best for you. also… don’t make anybody else the reason of your happiness. if you are happy just because of a person, when that person leaves you your whole world is going to crumble. don’t cry everyday. being sad is normal when you don’t really know what is going on with your life but spending everyday with a negative attitude will only make you feel more miserable. which brings me to.. don’t be too negative. there is always a bright side. find that little positive thing in your day that can make you smile. don’t be too hard on yourself. everybody has up and down. don’t think too
